Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant permission and protection to conduct the cultural program in Om Sri Kakku Mariyamman Thirukoil at Keezhkuppam Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, in a peaceful manner on 10.02.2019 from 7.30 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in view of the said Temple Festival by considering his representation dated 24.01.2019 in the light of the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court in WP Nos.183 of 2016, 13950 of 2016 and 20775 of 2018 dated 06.01.2016, 15.04.2016 and 13.08.2018 respectively.

Mr.J.Purushothaman Government Advocate O R D E R Mr.J.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct the cultural program in Om Sri Kakku Mariyamman Thirukoil at Keezhkuppam Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, in a peaceful manner on 10.02.2019 from 7.30 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. in view of the said Temple festival by considering his representation dated 24.01.2019.

3. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents submitted that already a circular memorandum dated 31.10.2018 has been issued by the Director General of Police to all the Station House Officers/Inspectors indicating the conditions to be imposed while considering the grant of permission to "Aadal Padal Programme". Therefore, he submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered by the second respondent in the light of the Circular already issued by the Director General of Police dated 31.10.2018.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law on or before 09.02.2019. No costs.
