This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.137 of 2014 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in respect of Crime No.137 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent, charge sheet has been filed and the same is pending in CC.No.5830 of 2017 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Egmore and hence the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
