ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to provide adequate Police protection in pursuance of his complaint dated 09.04.2014 pertaining to the Patta No.255, comprised in S.No.3/1, Koda Nagar Village of No.54, Cheyyar Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and I have also perused the records carefully.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is having a dispute with regard to the patta in respect of the land which was supposed to have been allotted to him under the Ex-service man quota. In this regard, the petitioner has filed W.P.No.7940 of 2014, arraying the Tahsildar and Collector as respondents and this Court directed the revenue authorities to look into the petition of the petitioner and take appropriate action.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the respondent police would definitely give police protection after the Tahsildar conducts enquiry and when the revenue authorities come there for measurement of the land.

5. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
