The Writ Petition was filed in the year 2005. When the matter was listed on various occasions, i.e., on 13.03.2019, 20.03.2019, and 27.03.2019, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to get instructions from the petitioner. Today, when the matter is listed, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she had sent a written envelope to the petitioner through registered post, which has been returned with an endorsement "without instruction return to sender" and she has also filed a memo to that effect.

2. It would not be justifiable to keep the writ petition pending any further, particularly when the intimation sent by him has been returned. Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a Review Petition if he is still aggrieved, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
