Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2019, thereby the respondents to grant permission for conducting cultural programme on 08.02.2019, night between 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. at Sri Poo Mariyamman Kovil, Somampallam Village, Salem West Village, Sooramangalam Post, Salem District-636 005.

Mr.E.Balamurugan Special Government Pleader O R D E R Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission for conducting cultural programme on 08.02.2019 between 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. at Sri Poo Mariyamman Kovil, Somampallam Village, Salem West Village, Sooramangalam Post, Salem District-636 005, based on his representation dated 29.01.2019.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents submitted that already a circular memorandum dated 31.10.2018 has been issued by the Director General of Police to all the Station House Officers/Inspectors indicating https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the conditions to be imposed while considering the grant of permission to "Aadal Padal Programme". Therefore, he submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered by the second respondent in the light of the Circular already issued by the Director General of Police dated 31.10.2018.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law on or before 07.02.2019. No costs.
