The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to give the compensation amount to the petitioners land in S.Nos.37, 130, 141 of Gengaikondan Thandavankuppam Village as mentioned in the representation of the petitioner dated 16.06.2014.

2. The facts of the case are as follows:

The petitioner is owner of the property in S.No.65/1 which is the ancestral property. The above said land was acquired in and around Neyveli Lignite Corporation, but the respondent has not paid any compensation to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner made several representations i.e. 26.07.2014, 16.06.2014 and 26.11.2013 to the respondents. However, till date, the same was not considered by the respondents and hence, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court seeking appropriate remedy.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2014 and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate submitted that the representation will be considered and necessary orders will be passed on merits within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate and perused the materials available on record.

6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2014 and pass necessary orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
