This petition has been filed to call for the records in FIR in Cr.No.104 of 2016 dated 22.03.2016 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same in exercise of the inherent powers under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

2. Today, Mr.N.P.Rajendran, Assistant Commissioner of Police, CCB, EDF-III, Chennai, is present before this Court.

3. On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Assistant Commissioner of Police has conducted a thorough investigation and has closed the case as "civil in nature" on 18.11.2016.

4. Recording the same, this petition is closed with a direction to the police to file the Closure Report before the jurisdictional Magistrate.

This Court places on record its appreciation to the Assistant Commissioner of Police for conducting a thorough and unbiased investigation and for coming to the aforesaid conclusion.
