ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.19 of 2015 pending on his file.

2. The case of the petitioner is that as against one C.K.Ramasamy and others, he has lodged a complaint and the same was registered as FIR in Crime No.19/2015 by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 468, 471, 447, 506(i), 294(B) and 420 IPC and Section 82 of the Registration Act, 1908. Though the complaint was registered on 27.07.2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent police to investigate the case https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in Crime No.19 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
