The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2019 for restoring the E.B.Service Connection No.01-106-019-20 at No.2, Kuppu Pillai Lane, Chennai - 600 001 immediately.

2.The case of the petitioner is that for non payment of current consumption charges, the electricity service connection was disconnected. Thereafter, the petitioner paid the entire amount, however, the electricity service connection was not restored. Hence, the petitioner made representation to the respondents seeking to restore the electricity service connection and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2019 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
