The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the goods confiscated were released pursuant to the orders passed by this Court.

In view of the fact that the goods were already released long back, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the other grounds raised in this writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
