Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prays for a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioners son namely Janarthanan, S/o. Gunasekaran, aged 23 years, who is illegally detained by respondents 3 and 4 before this court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's sister's son, namely, Janarthanan, son of Guanasekaran, aged 23 years, who is said to be illegally detained by respondents 3 and 4, before this Court and to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

set him at liberty.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's sister's son was taken by the 4th respondent-Police in mufti and he has been detained by them. In this regard, a representation has been given to the respondents demanding the release of the detenu. But, till date, he has not been released. Hence the petition.

3.Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the detenu was taken by the 4th respondent-Police for an enquiry, with regard to the warrants pending against the petitioner's son Vasantharaja, in respect of several cases pending against him. After enquiry, the detenu had been handed over to his parents on 18.3.2015.

4. In such circumstances, recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents, we find that no further orders are necessary. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
