This revision has been filed to set aside the order dated 01.08.2012 made in M.C.No.496 of 2007, on the file of the learned III Additional Family Judge, Chennai.
2. The revision petitioner and the respondent are the husband and wife. The respondent has filed the maintenance case before the learned III Additional Family Judge, Chennai in M.C.No.496 of 2007 for maintenance. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the Family Court allowed the case in part and directed the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month to the respondent towards maintenance.
3. Challenging the said order dated 01.08.2012 in M.C.No.496 of 2007, on the file of the learned III Additional Family Judge, Chennai, the petitioner has filed the present revision before this Court.
4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that during the pendency of the revision, the respondent died, the revision is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
