O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the mother of the detenu for a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her son Balamurugan went missing in the year 2011, in connection with which a case in Crime No.227 of 2011 for man missing has been registered by the Inspector of Police and the same is under investigation. The first respondent has filed status report dated 03.07.2015, wherein they have detailed the steps that are taken by them for tracing the missing person.

3. On a perusal of the Status Report, we are satisfied that the respondent police have taken adequate steps, despite which the detenu could not be traced. In such circumstances, this petition stands disposed of directing the first respondent - police to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.227 of 2011 and keep the petitioner informed about the developments.
