O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 20.01.2025 and for a consequential direction to the 1st respondent to replace the petitioner's father's brother name in the revenue records. 2.Heard Mr.M.Velmurugan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent.

3.In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner is having an efficacious alternative remedy by way of an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer under Section 12 of the Patta Passbook Act. In view of the same, the order passed by the 1st respondent cannot be directly put to challenge before this Court in this writ petition. Hence, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file the appeal before the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer and seek for the relief. Such appeal shall be filed, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No Costs. 2/4
