COMMON PRAYER: C.M.P.Nos.3161 to 3163, 3165 & 3166 of 2019 are filed under Section 173 (1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, to condone the delay of 931, 901, 931, 931 & 931 days in filing the above appeals.

C.M.A.SR.Nos.80194, 80180, 80183, 80187 & 80190 of 2015 are filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, against the judgment and decree dated 20.11.2012 made in M.C.O.P.Nos.10 of 2011, 195 of 2010, 197 of 2010, 206 of 2010 and 2 of 2011 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, District Court, Karaikal.

C.M.P.Nos.3161 to 3163, 3165 & 3166 of 2019 are filed to condone the delay of 931, 901, 931, 931 & 931 days in filing the above appeals.

C.M.A.SR.Nos.80194, 80180, 80183, 80187 & 80190 of 2015 are filed against the judgment and decree dated 20.11.2012 made in M.C.O.P.Nos.10 of 2011, 195 of 2010, 197 of 2010, 206 of 2010

and 2 of 2011 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, District Court, Karaikal.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the materials available on record.

3.According to the petitioners, award was passed on 20.11.2012, copy applications were filed on 07.02.2014 and copy of the award was received on 27.03.2014. Hence, the delay of 931, 901, 931, 931 & 931 days has occurred in filing the appeals. The petitioners have not given any reason for not applying the copy applications immediately. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to condone the delay of 931, 901, 931, 931 & 931 in filing the appeals. Accordingly, C.M.P.Nos.3161 to 3163, 3165 & 3166 of 2019 stand dismissed and consequently, C.M.A.SR.Nos.80194, 80180, 80183, 80187 & 80190 of 2015 are rejected. No costs. 13.02.2019 kj
