The petitioners have filed this writ petition to call for the records of the first respondent in respect of the impugned Notification with No.A2/6223/2012 dated 08.06.2012 and to quash the same in respect of the list of the Institutions which granted qualifications as provided in the notification so long as it discriminated the petitioners and consequently to direct the respondents one and two to consider and appoint the petitioner to the post of Village Health Nurses.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel Page No.2 of 5

for the petitioners submitted that the relief sought in this writ petition has already been granted to the petitioners. Hence, the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
