The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with 22(C), read with 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.328 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused was found in illegal possession of 8 numbers of LSD Stamps which contains 130 mg. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner along with other accused was found in illegal possession of 8 nos of LSD Stamps which contains 130 mg. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

gbi He would further submit that the petitioner has got 4 previous cases out of which, 2 cases are similar in nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, also the petitioner has got four previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original petition is dismissed with the direction to the learned Principal Special Court under EC and NDPS Act cases, Chennai, to complete the trial within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
