ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner with respect to Government land comprised in survey No.221/4 to an extent of 8 cents situated at Thaiyalgunampattinam, Pethanayakkankuppam, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore 607 302.

2. Heard, Mr.M.Sridhar, the learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.S.Rajesh, Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.10.2019 after issuing notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any, and giving them opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
