ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to give permission to conduct cultural programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Kangasani Kuppam Village Arulmigu Sree Nagalamman Temple Festival at K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Vellore District on 06.03.2021 between 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2021.

The petitioner claims that the residents' in the area in which aforementioned temple is located, proposed to conduct a cultural programme during the temple festival on 06.03.2021 between 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Therefore, the petitioner's gave a representation dated 09.02.2021 to the respondent seeking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
permission for conducting the cultural programme. Since, the representation has not considered, he approached this Court under Article 226 of Constitution of India.
3. Heard Mr.A.Sathishkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader for respondent.
4. According to the petitioner, no prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits in accordance with law. Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that there were clashes during the conduct the temple festival in the last year and still the petitioner had given a representation for conducting the cultural programme. The same can be considered by the respondent, while the petitioner's application seeking for permission to conduct the cultural programme is considered by them based on the petitioner's representation.
5. Accordingly, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2021 seeking permission to conduct the cultural programme during the temple festival on 06.03.2021 between 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. and pass final orders on merits in accordance with law on or before 02.03.2021.
6. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
