ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction in the form of writ of mandamus for the return of the driving license of the petitioner.

2. Earlier notice was ordered to the respondents. Today, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that the licensing authority had suspended the driving license of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner for a specified period invoking the provisions under Section 19 of The Motor Vehicles Act. Now, the period of suspension was also over. She further submitted that immediately after the period of suspension was over, the license has been returned to the petitioner under acknowledgment. The learned Government Advocate has also produced a xerox copy of the letter of acknowledgment given by the petitioner for the receipt of his license.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this court is of the view that no further adjudication is required in this writ petition and the writ petition deserves to be dismissed.

4. In the result, this writ petition is dismissed recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate. No costs.
