These petitions have been filed seeking to condone the delay of 280 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeals.

Ms.R.Sreevidya, learned counsel who appeared on behalf of the second respondent, stated that she has no objection to this petition being allowed.

The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of these petitions being satisfactory, these Civil Miscellaneous Petitions are ordered and consequently, the delay of 280 days in filing the appeals is condoned, subject to the condition that the claimants/petitioners will not be entitled to interest for the delay period i.e., for 280 days, in the appeals.

Registry is directed to number the Civil Miscellaneous Appeals, if they are, otherwise, in order and list the same for admission in due course and shall also print the name of the second respondent's counsel in the cause list, at the time of admission.
