Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records jointly 1 to 3 respondents pertaining to the Advertisement/ Notification, also published in Thina Thanthi on 31.12.2012 for selection of LPG Dealers and quash the proceeding of Eligibility criteria for individual as far as the S.C./S.T category is concern and consequently direct the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner by retaining the earlier eligibility criteria for S.C./ S.T. Individuals.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the notification dated 31.12.2012, issued for the selection LPG dealers sought to be quashed had been withdrawn by the respondents. Consequently, a fresh notification was issued on 22.01.2013.

2.Since the notification under challenge had already been withdrawn, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised and accordingly, the writ petition stands closed.
