ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under section 120B, 406, 465, 417, 420 IPC, in Crime No.3 of 2021 seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petition for anticipatory bail in the case of cheating by impressing upon the investors that, cars auctioned by the bank can be purchased by lower price and sold it to the higher price which has led to the mortgage of Rs. 5 lakhs from the defacto complainant and Rs.2.11 crores from other five victims.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner being the wife of the first accused, she has been falsely implicated in this complaint so as to harass the first accused and to extract the money.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner herein has also played an active role in impressing the public to invest in their scheme and refused to pay the money invested.

5. In view of the above, since the investigation is going on, if the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail, she may tamper the course of investigation.
