O R D E R

Mr.S.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner is a participant in an e-tender under Notice No.46 CE/TEC/2023-24/DO dated 12.12.2023. The tender was for the purpose of effective construction and the petitioner had participated in respect of S.Nos.1 and 2 of the Notification, ie., (Serial No.1 - Construction of Classroom and Laboratory building and toilet block in existing ADM Block for 2nd and 3rd floor in Government Polytechnic college at Kadathur in Dharmapuri District). (Serial No.2 - Construction of casting yard lab, Thermal Engineering and Manufacturing technology lab and 1. No Workshop building over the existing building in Government college of engineering at Chettikarai in Dharmapuri District).

3. The bid was submitted on 21.01.2024 and opened on 23.01.2024. The results of the e-tender reveals according to the petitioner, that it is the lowest tenderer for the works in S.Nos.1 and 2. Thus, the petitioner has made a representation on 26.01.2024 intimating the respondents that the petitioner firm awaits the work order. This representation was followed by reminder dated 30.01.2024.

4. On account of the inaction or response of any nature from the respondents, the present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to consider its representations.

5. Mr.Balamurugan, on instructions, would confirm that the tender is a single window tender and that the same is under process. He would also confirm that the work order would be issued in accordance with the terms of the tender on or before 24.02.2024.

6. This is recorded. Since, with the recording of the statement of the learned Government Advocate as aforesaid, mandamus as sought for stands achieved, there is no further necessity to direct disposal of the petitioner's representations.
