O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed for the alleged disobedience of the interim orders passed by this Court dated 11.01.2021 in W.P.No.563 of 2021.

2. Today when the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader submits that, as directed by this Court on 11.01.2021 the list of candidates under the linguistic minority quota who have been selected, has been uploaded in the website on 08.01.2021 and a copy of the report has been submitted on 27.01.2021 before this Court. Therefore, the learned Government Pleader submits that the orders passed by this Court has been complied with.

3. Learned counsel would further submit that, in this regard an affidavit also has been filed by the Coordinator of the Centre dated 19.10.2022, where inter alia the following has been stated.

" 6. I respectfully submit that, as directed by this Hon'ble Court, the respondent has submitted a report on 27.01.2021 along with the necessary enclosures before this Hon'ble Court. The report submitted as follows:- It is submitted that 14 candidates have applied under Telugu Linguistic Minority Quota and the separate merit list of all the candidates with their respective rank is enclosed as Annexure-1.

Out of the total 14 candidates, 8 candidates were allotted seats for admission in MBBS at Sri Venkateshwara Medical College under Telugu Minority Quota and the candidate namely A.Swetha, NEET score 206 and 10th in the merit list alone has joined the college list of admitted candidates is enclosed as Annexure-II.

The separate Telugu Minority merit list, which was prepared on 20.12.2020 and inadvertently left to be uploaded, was uploaded on 08.01.2021."

In view of the aforesaid circumstances, where the interim direction given by this Court has been complied with, this Court feels that no further persuasive action is required in this contempt petition.
