Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication. However, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioner may be granted liberty to approach the authority concerned for appropriate remedy.
