Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.01.2024, in and by which, he sought for private attendance by the respondent/Sub-Register to register the settlement deed.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the Page No.2/4
petitioner dated 22.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
