ORDER

This Contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his willful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.No.25793 of 2009, dated 14.12.2009.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that, the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.25793 of 2009, dated 14.12.2009 has been complied with.

In this regard, the respondent/ Tamilnadu Housing Board had produced a letter dated 13.11.2014, wherein it is stated that the order dated 29.01.2010 has been sent to the petitioner concerned, thereby the petitioner was instructed to vacate the premises. The same was served on the petitioner by way of letter on 03.05.2010 and the petitioner was also accepted to vacate the premises before 21.06.2010.

4. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to grant liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in accordance with law. Thus, no further adjudication is required in this Contempt application, since the order of this Court dated 14.12.2009, is complied with. Accordingly, this Contempt petition stands closed with the above liberty. No costs.
