Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought by the petitioner has become infructuous. Therefore, he sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

2. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the petitioner's counsel, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
