Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to accord approval to the transfer and promotion of the petitioner Sr.A.Celine Elizabeth Rani, working as B.T.Asst (History) in the sixth respondent ST.Theresa's Girls Higher Secondary School, Tharangambadi - 609 313, Nagapattinam District, w.e.f. 03.08.2021, within the same educational agency, with all service and monetary benefits.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to accord the approval to the transfer and promotion of the petitioner as BT Assistant (History) with effect from 03.08.2021.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner was appointed as Secondary Grade Assistant in St. John's Primary School, Tharangambadi, with effect from 04.06.2002. Her appointment was approved by the proceedings dated 24.07.2002. Thereafter, she was transferred to the fifth respondent School. While being so, the vacancy of BT Assistant (History) arose, due to retirement of one Kuzhanthai as on 30.04.2020, the petitioner was promoted to the post of BT Assistant (History) and she appointed as BT Assistant (History) in the sixth respondent School with effect from 03.08.2021. Accordingly, the petitioner was relieved from the fifth respondent School as Secondary Grade Assistant on 02.08.2021. Thereafter, the proposal of the transfer and promotion was submitted before the fourth respondent for approval. However, it is pending without passing any order.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the fourth respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the proposal sent by the
sixth respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner as BT Assistant (History) in the sixth respondent School, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
