..Respondents Prayer : The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue order or direction specifically writ in the nature of Writ of Mandamus , directing the respondent to issue independent patta to the land bearing R.S.No.694/2012 and measuring total extent of 0.09cents, situate at Vellalur Village, Coimbatore South Taluk, Coimbatore, considering application dated 03.07.2012.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. It is the claim of the petitioner that his mother viz., Valliammal is in occupation of land admesaruing to an extent of 0.09 cents and also put up a hut in S.No.694 of 2012 at Vellalur, Coimbatore South Taluk and she was also issued with a B-memo and she is no more. The petitioner has submitted a representation to the second respondent praying for transfer of B-memo in his favour and also sent a reminder representation to the first respondent. The office of first respondent vide memo dated 21.05.2014 in Na.Ka.No.8368/2014/A1, has directed the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
second respondent to take action and inform the same to the petitioner and in spite of such a direction, so far, no response is forthcoming from the second respondent and therefore, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by filing this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.J.Stalin, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.S.Selvam, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to act on the memo dated 21.05.2014 sent by the office of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.8368/2014/A1 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
