O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose the appeal in C.M.A. 9 of 2017, pending on the file of Principal District Judge/Special Tribunal for Cooperative Cases, Nagapattinam.

2. According to the petitioner, earlier, a proceeding under Sec.87 of the Cooperative Societies Act has been initiated and surcharge order has been passed. Challenging the same, he has filed an appeal in C.M.A. 9 of 2017 on the file of Principal District Judge/Special Tribunal for Cooperative Cases, Nagapattinam. But, so far, no order has been passed in the appeal. Hence, he has filed this Civil Revision Petition seeking to dispose the appeal.

3. I have considered the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for petitioner and perused the records carefully.

4. Considering the fact that, the appeal is filed in the year 2017, so far, it was not disposed of, the learned Principal District Judge/Special Tribunal for Cooperative Cases, Nagapattinam is 2/4

directed to dispose the appeal in C.M.A. 9 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
