The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.221 of 2023, registered by the respondent originally under Section 174(3) Cr.P.C., and subsequently altered to Sections 498A and 306 of IPC. The petitioner had been remanded to judicial custody on 14.12.2023.

2.It is stated that the petitioner is the sole accused and the deceased is his wife. It is stated that they had married on 16.09.2021 and they also have a young female child. The one factor which forces me to dismiss this petition is that in the report of the Post Mortem that there is injury in the right side ear of the deceased and also ligature mark are not continuous. 3.Let the final report be filed, after obtaining the Post Mortem report. At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
