O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to give protection to the life of the petitioner on the basis of her representation dated 29.03.2016. 2.It is seen that a civil suit is pending in O.S.No.522 of 2015 on the file of the Principal Sub-ordinate Court, Tiruvannamalai. While so, the petitioner's elder son with the held of hooligans are giving life threat to the petitioner and her son's property, which is in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner gave complaints to the respondent police on 24.02.2016 and 29.03.2016. Now, the petitioner seeks police protection for her life and the property.

3.It is seen that the complaint was made in the year 2016. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
