ORDER
The present wit petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2024.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given representation to the respondents on 17.10.2024 to transfer the petitioner from Ramanathapuram to Tuticorin and such representation is yet to be considered by the respondents.
3. At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that there is no vacancy at Tuticorin. However, the learned counsel would fairly submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation and pass order according to its own merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable time.
4. I have given my anxious consideration to either side submissions and 2/5
also perused the materials available on record.

In such view of the fair submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's above representation dated 17.10.2024 and pass order according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
