Prayer : Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.39944 of 2002 dated 31.10.2002. O R D E R

The contempt petition is filed to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.39944 of 2002, dated 31.10.2002.

2.The order was an interim order. The parties are unable to establish the current position on account of the efflux of time, as the interim order was passed on 31.10.2002 and 18 1⁄2 years lapsed. Thus, this Court is not inclined to keep the contempt petition pending and all the grounds raised in the contempt petition may be raised in the writ petition. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.

3.Registry is directed to list the writ petition for final hearing after two weeks.
