Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Declaration declaring the amendment of Rule 17(2) of the Tamil Nadu Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Rules 1989, published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Part III Section 1(a), Issue No.6 in pages 28 to 47 dated 16.02.2005 of the first respondent as null and void and consequently direct the 1 to 3 respondents not to collect any additional fees for verification and stamping of weights and measures under Rule 17(2) of the Rules.
