The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners admitted the fact that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 05.09.2019, the contempt petitioners were 1/2
Cont.P.No.1347 of 2013 reinstated into service and joined duty. Thus, the respondents are bound to provide work and pay salary as applicable to the contempt petitioners. However, the claim of the contempt petitioners in relation to the arrear of payment, if any, to be adjudicated during the final hearing of the writ petition. All such disputes can be adjudicated during the final hearing of the writ petition. However, the workmen have already been reinstated and further, they must be provided with work and paid salary as applicable during the pendency of the writ petition. With these directions, the contempt petition stands closed.
