THAMILSELVI CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.2045 of 2022 IN CRL OP.675/2022 P.ANBU [ PETITIONER ] Vs STATE REP BY [ RESPONDENT ] INSPECTOR OF POLICE, AWPS POLICE STATION- ARNI, ARNI, THIRUVANNAMALAI DISTRICT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to Amend the provision Sec.498A, 294(b), 323, 376, 511, 506(i) of IPC instead of Sec 498A, 294(b), 323, 506(i) of IPC in the order passed in Crl.OP.675/2022 dated 12.01.2022. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S K.VENKAT, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.L.BASKARAN,Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- The present petition has been filed to amend the Section 498A, 291(b), 323, 376, 511, 506(1) of IPC instead of Section 498A, 291(b), 323, 506(1) of IPC in the order dated 12.01.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.675 of 2022.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl side) raised objection stating that at the time of filing, Section 376 of IPC was included in the FIR, but, the petitioner suppressed the said Section and obtained anticipatory bail before this Court dated 12.01.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.675 of 2022. 4.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is not inclined to amend the petition. Therefore, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh anticipatory application.
