Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing 2nd, 3rd and 4th respondents to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2018 seeking for grant permission for the establishment of Dheeran Chinnamalai statue at new plot No.B/3/10/4 Varthampalayam, Sathyamangalam, Erode with Patta No.1562.

O R D E R This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2018, wherein and wherein, he sought for permission for establishment of Dheeran Chinnamalai Statue at Plot No.B/3/10/4 Varthampalayam, Sathyamangalam, Erode with Patta No.1562.

2. Heard both sides.

3. It is claimed by the petitioner that the property, in which, the statue sought to be installed belongs to the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the respondents 2 to 4 to consider and decide. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 4th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, after getting the report/ view from the 2nd and 3rd respondents as well. Such exercise shall be done by the 4th respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
