ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent, the Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram District, to transfer the investigation in Cr.No.21 of 2019 pending before the Respondent Police to the Central Crime Branch, Kancheepuram.

Heard Mr.K.V.Ramesh learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

This Court finds no grounds to change of investigation in Crime No.21 of 2019, since the 2nd respondent has almost completed the investigation and also arrested the accused persons. Even till today two of the accused persons are in judicial custody. At this stage, if the investigation is transferred to the other Investigating Agency, it would affect the investigation. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
