Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 5 to conduct this year annual Masi month festival from 22.02.2022 to 13.03.2022 of Mariyamman Temple, Ammani Kondalampatti at Salem pursuant to the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.1716 of 2019 dated 31.7.2019. Mr.Vadivelu Deenadayalan and Mr.Yashwant, learned Additional Government Pleaders accept notice for R1, R2 and R4 and R3 respectively and both are armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally. Hence, by consent expressed by both https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned counsel, this Writ Petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.

2. The prayer is for a mandamus directing R3, in consonance with other respondents, to conduct annual Masi month festival of Mariyamman Temple, Ammani Kondalampatti at Salem between 22.02.2022 and 13.03.2022.

3. Proceedings in Na.Ka.No.845/2017/A2 dated 15.02.2022 are placed on record. Learned counsel for R3 assures the Court that peace meeting will be conducted immediately upon completion of the on-going election and steps will be taken in line with the request of the petitioner for the conduct of festival.
