The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to quash the order dated 18.10.2005 in relation to the cancellation of license to sell crackers.

2. The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that the license was cancelled without even providing an opportunity to the Writ Petitioner. However, the fact remains that the impugned order was passed vide proceeding dated 18.10.2005 and now after lapse of about 13 years, and in view of the change of regulations and circumstances, no adjudication is necessary. The Writ Petitioner is at liberty to approach the Competent Authority by filing fresh application. In the event of submitting any such fresh application, the Competent Authority shall consider the same and pass orders strictly in accordance with the rules and regulations and as per law in force.
