Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to register the sale deed dated 8.6.2011 executed by Karuppannan in favour of the petitioner in respect of new S.No.26/5A Hec. 2.73.5 as an agricultural land and consequently, hand over the original registered sale deed dated 8.6.2011 to the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved by the demand of deficit stamp duty made by the respondents.

2.It is represented by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.22,000/- as the deficit stamp duty to the respondents and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner expressed his inability to get instructions from his client as he is unable to contact him.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
