ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioner and his family pursuant to the representation dated 26.04.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. On a complaint given by one Murugesan, it appears that enquiry is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall cooperate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
