N.Murali ..Respondents Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to direct the second respondent to rescue the detenue the petitioner daughter Priyadarshni, aged 17 years old from illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and produce her before this Hon'ble Court and set her liberty.

ORDER

This Habeas Corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to rescue the detenue, the petitioner's daughter Priyadarshni, aged 17 years, from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and produce her before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The detenue, Priyadarshni, aged 17 years, is produced before this Court by the second respondent, Inspector of Police. She was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

produced from one of her relatives house and not from the 3rd respondent by name', Sekar, who is also present before this Court.

3. The detenue, Priyadarshni, was enquired by us and she has categorically stated that she went and stayed in one of her relative's house in view of the conduct of her parents in arranging for her marriage. The detenue has now expressed her willingness to go along with her parents. We also advised the parents to take care of their daughter. The detenue has also stated that either the 3rd respondent or the 4th respondent have nothing to do with her leaving the parents house and staying in her relative''s house. Therefore, the detenue is allowed to go with her parents and no further order is warranted in this petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
