ORDER
(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.Pandian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate, appearing for respondents 1 to 3.
2. The petitioner seeks directions against the second respondent to appoint teachers in the Government Adi Dravidar Higher Secondary School, Manamai Thirukalukundarm Taluk, Kanchipuram District.
3. A status report was filed in March, 2021 by the third respondent/District Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer. As per the said affidavit, the third respondent has deputed two teachers from Nadhivaram Middle School to the writ school for the subjects of Science and Tamil, as per order dated 13.02.2021. Subsequently, as per order dated 17.02.2021, the Chief Educational Officer, Chengalpattu has deputed two teachers from Sadras Higher Secondary School and Sooradimangalam High School for the subjects of Social Science and Tamil. Vacancies are being filled-in.
4. Four years have already passed by since the filing of the writ
petition.
5. It is expected that the respondent authorities shall ensure that teachers are appointed as per the sanctioned staffing pattern so that the interest of the students in getting better education is not frustrated.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
