Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus petition directing the first and second respondents to make investigation in the case registered in C.No.82/2015 on the file of the 1st respondent and produce the petitioner's daughter Shobia @ Sowpriya, aged 14 years who disappeared on 15.02.2015 before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) This petition has been filed by the petitioner/mother of the detenue Shobia @ Sowpriya, aged about 14 years, to cause production of her daughter, who is said to be in the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and to set her at liberty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.Today the detenue is produced before this Court by the respondent police. The parents of the detenue, viz., the petitioner herein and her husband Venkatesan, are also present before us.

4.On enquiry, the detenue has expressed her willingness to go along with her parents, who are present before this Court today. The parents have also accepted to take their daughter back home. 5.Recording the statement made by the detenue herein, she is permitted to go along with her parents and the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. However, the respondent police are directed to proceed with the criminal case registered against the 3rd respondent herein in Cr.No.82/2015 and proceed in accordance with law.
