O R D E R

With reference to the impugned order, Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader submitted written instructions from Tahsildar, Chengalpattu vide letter dated 17.04.2024. The said letter reveals that notice was issued to the petitioner on 07.03.2024. However, the petitioner had not appeared for the enquiry. Further, the enquiry reveal that the petitioner is not residing in the address given.

Since the petitioner is not residing in the address given and not participated in the enquiry proceedings, the Authorities have rejected her application for the issuance of 'Legal Heirship Certificate.' Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent Authority and produce Page No.2 of 4

all the relevant documents for consideration. In the event of such cooperation on the part of the petitioner, the respondents shall conduct an enquiry and take appropriate decision and pass orders. 4.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
