Heard Mr.R.Karunagaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent.

2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The petitioner sought for a mandamus directing the respondent to furnish the bill amount in respect of E.B. Service connection Nos.C-49729/725/C/003, A-49016/726/A/001 and D49021/D-Agricultural purpose. It is not known as to why the petitioner has to approach this Court seeking such a relief. He could very well approach the concerned Junior Engineer or the

Billing Officer and secure the details. The representation submitted by the petitioner is breft of particulars. Equally, in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the petitioner has not disclosed the full facts. Furthermore, the petitioner seeks for furnishing the details of the bill for the period from 2003 to 2009. The petitioner has not stated as to why he has not approached the authorities earlier. 4.Since the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself, it cannot be verified as to whether the electricity service connection has been disconnected for non payment. In any event, the petitioner may be informed the present state of affairs. However, on the representation given by the petitioner, no direction sought for can be granted.

5.Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. However, this will not preclude the petitioner from submitting fresh representation to the concerned Junior Engineer, along with a copy of this order, who shall consider the same and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
